VAMPIRES SUCK
Hey! I don’t know a single person who has not watch a single movie of the sensational box office, Twilight Saga. It has been the most talked about book series, adapted to film starred by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
But who would have guessed that later on a new release will come? Maybe not the most anticipated sequel of the Twilight, yet it’s the movie that will surely divert the attention of Twilight and non-Twilight fans into a different outlook regarding the humour of the characters.
VAMPIRES SUCK is a comedy spoof about contemporary teen angst and romance movies. The movie written and directed by Jason Friedberg, Aaron Seltzer starred by Jenn Proske, Chris Riggi, Matt Lanter, Ken Jeong, Arielle Kebbel will be out on August 18, 2010.
Synopsis:
From the folks who brought you Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet The Spartans and Disaster Movie comes Vampires Suck. Becca (Bella), an anxious, non-vampire teen, is torn between two boys. Before she can choose, Becca must get around her controlling father, who embarrasses Becca by treating her like a child. Meanwhile, Becca’s friends contend with their own romantic issues — all of which collide at the prom.
Vampires Suck will surely take a bite out of New Moon. Go ahead! Have a laugh watching the movie right only here. Check out the trailer below and get ready to see the “Black Eyed Peas” and see Jacob jump above Becca and lands in his chihuahua form.

Two very interesting imaginary characters- vampires and werewolves are more often than not placed against each other to spice up the drama of a horror flick. When played well along with a strong plot and dramatic sequence, it can be very gripping for the audience and be the key to success for the movie. The Twilight movies have tried capturing this same essence.

The Twilight series written by Stephenie Meyer is a collection of four books- Twilight, New moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, each one has been transformed into reels from pages, with the exception of Breaking Dawn, that too would be available for cinematic experience in some time.

Edward Cullen is the enticing vampire and Jacob Black, the werewolf as well as the soul mate of Bella, the human object of love of both the werewolf and the vampire. Stephenie Meyers has made another imaginary delineation between the Vampires that suck human blood and those that are vegetarian. This vegetarianism is a formulation of her mind. Vegetarian does not mean what is relevant in human context. Vampires, being vegetarian imply that they feed on animal blood instead of human blood. It was Edward’s father’s discovery.

The movie depicts both Edward and Jacob with immense physical strength. In one such instance of strength exhibition, Edward saves Bella from being hit by Tyler’s van. And Bella falls in love with the very charming, marble-skinned, 17 year old vampire instantly. And soon it is reciprocated by Edward too.

Werewolves are meant to keep the vampires in check. Jacob is the best friend of Bella. But with the Cullen family moving into Forks, the latent werewolf genes in the werewolves gets activated. Generally the werewolves have a lifespan and style like that of the humans- they live and die. But with vampires around them, their latent genes stir up and there is a werewolf population explosion.

The werewolves unlike the vampires have the choice of living like humans, growing old and then facing death eventually. But if they choose to become werewolves, then they gain their immortality and like vampires never age.One very effective difference between the vampires and the werewolves is that vampires are very cold and conversely the latter are burning hot.

Bella gets sort of sandwiched between an old werewolf best friend and mesmerizing vampire lover. These two imaginary species are believed not to be able to stand each other. Having visited the Cullen’s, when Bella goes to meet her friends and Jacob, they keep resenting the blood sucking, vampire-ish smell emitting from Bella. And the same happens when she has visited Jacob and then goes on to visit the vampires, she gets to hear the complain of smelling wolfy.

In the movie, the treacherous rivalry is worsened due to the liking developed for one human girl in her contemporaries belonging to each of the two species. Finally Bella long to be bitten y Edward so that she could join the league of immortal vampires since she is scared of ageing while Edward still remains impeccable at the constant age of 17. At the same time the rival werewolves have unwavering eye on the teenage girl and the story continues and unfolds gradually through the Twilight Series.

Golf is a pricey game and the private golf clubs, especially the well recognized courses have made it expensive. The country clubs generally carry an initiation and monthly fees. In addition, players will have to spend a good amount on the cart fees, golf clubs, balls, clothes and other golf accessories. For those who want to save some money can look for cheap golf tee times.

One of the best places to search for cheap golf tee times is the course’s website. Most of the private golf courses have their own website. And whenever they run promotions, they are been usually advertised on this website and not at the course. Therefore it is a good idea to browse the site on a regular basis, especially before booking golf tee times. Such discount is available when one pre-books the round. Sometimes, the private golf clubs provide discount coupons that the player need to print off and bring them down while visiting the course to play.

There are some private golf courses that offer cheap golf tee times at certain times of the day. They provide discounts on the green fees for golfers teeing off at certain times like before 9 A.M (early bird special) or after 4 P.M (twilight special). Some of the country clubs also offer similar membership plans. Golfers who like to play golf late of an afternoon can check out if the club has twilight membership option. Such membership is usually cheaper than the full membership; and the golfers can conveniently buy cheapest possible tee times.

In addition, one can opt for the public golf courses or book municipal tee times. The public golf courses are much cheaper than the private clubs and one can save a lot by book these municipal tee times. However, the quality of the course is not always assured. The greens are not always in a very good condition and there are some that are bumpy with tufts of grass. In fact there are some public golf courses that are slightly on the scruffy side. Therefore the player needs to be thorough with the quality of the golf course before booking the tee times.

There is another way to enjoy a game at a well trimmed private golf course and still save on money – the golf networking sites. A number of such sites offer cheap golf tee times, if the time is booked through them. These sites are associated with a several different private golf courses and help the clubs to sell their excess or unused tee times. One can book tee times at the member courses by just paying the green fees. Thus one can play at some of the finest courses without paying any membership fee to the private golf clubs. However, one need to be a member of the golf networking site to book golf tee times through them. And they offer both free and paid memberships.

It’s a pretty good set up enabling a player to get half price golf. However, it is recommended to opt for a secure and reliable site while booking online tee times. Since one need to share their credit card and bank details, security is an important issue.

“The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” is a story described from the viewpoint of Bree Tanner, a character in Eclipse. The book will be released on June 5 and the first print order is that of 1.5 million copies. One dollar from each book sold will go to the American Red Cross International Response Fund which will then be routed to the relief efforts going into the Haiti and Chile.

It Started As A Fun Story

Stephenie Meyer herself is surprised from the publication of the story in the book form. She began to work on the idea in 2005, at the time when she was editing Eclipse. It was only intended to be a short story which would have been uploaded on her website. Later she thought it fit to add the story to the “The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide”, though the story kept growing longer and became 192 pages long.

The fans would be given exclusive access to the story on an exclusive website, www.breetanner.com, where they would be allowed to read the story online from June 7 to July 5, 2010. “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” has always been for the fans only, says Stephenie Meyer, as she expresses her gratitude for the fans for being so supportive of everything related to Twilight.

Story Of A Newborn Vampire

The book by Stephenie Meyer, “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” is a captivating story of a newborn vampire who lives in the darker side of the world. It will also be available as an e-book on June 5, 2010. Stephenie Meyer has already become a publishing sensation. She herself admits she had been working on the story off and on just for fun. Later as the story grew, the book “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” started to explain lots of things which Bella never knew of. The book was also used during the process of making Eclipse film. The screenwriter, director and cast of the film also read the story to get to know the characters better.

A Gift For The Fans

After the manuscript of the book was completed, she heard the news that the book had become almost 200 pages long after typesetting. The publishers came up with the idea of publishing the Bree story separately so that people would know more of Bree before they watched the movie. When Stephenie Meyer suggested the idea of gifting the story of Bree to the fans since they had already bought tons of books on the series, the publishers agreed, which gave birth to the idea of presenting the book online for a month.

While reading The Corrections, many readers felt glad they were not one of the characters, but could easily visualize themselves making the same mistakes they were making. In the conventional sense, The Corrections didn’t have a plot, but it did explain how the characters got where they were. Take Gary for example, who was sure in his heart he didn’t want to have a marriage like his father who dominated (or bullied) his wife. As a result, his wife started dominating the marriage.

This is the Way Jonathan Franzen Writes

Although Jonathan Franzen doesn’t know how the cruise chapters work, he is aware how the first two chapters and then fifth and sixth work. He just takes a single situation and then tightens the screws for all the characters (just like short novels). He is slightly apologetic about it, but Jonathan Franzen does create situations somewhat mechanically (for you it means there is a method behind the madness). He wants to figure out a powerful dramatic situation beforehand when he starts writing.
