The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella by Stephenie Meyer

“The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” is a story described from the viewpoint of Bree Tanner, a character in Eclipse. The book will be released on June 5 and the first print order is that of 1.5 million copies. One dollar from each book sold will go to the American Red Cross International Response Fund which will then be routed to the relief efforts going into the Haiti and Chile.
It Started As A Fun Story
Stephenie Meyer herself is surprised from the publication of the story in the book form. She began to work on the idea in 2005, at the time when she was editing Eclipse. It was only intended to be a short story which would have been uploaded on her website. Later she thought it fit to add the story to the “The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide”, though the story kept growing longer and became 192 pages long.
Read It Online
The fans would be given exclusive access to the story on an exclusive website, www.breetanner.com, where they would be allowed to read the story online from June 7 to July 5, 2010. “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” has always been for the fans only, says Stephenie Meyer, as she expresses her gratitude for the fans for being so supportive of everything related to Twilight.
Story Of A Newborn Vampire
The book by Stephenie Meyer, “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” is a captivating story of a newborn vampire who lives in the darker side of the world. It will also be available as an e-book on June 5, 2010. Stephenie Meyer has already become a publishing sensation. She herself admits she had been working on the story off and on just for fun. Later as the story grew, the book “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” started to explain lots of things which Bella never knew of. The book was also used during the process of making Eclipse film. The screenwriter, director and cast of the film also read the story to get to know the characters better.
A Gift For The Fans
After the manuscript of the book was completed, she heard the news that the book had become almost 200 pages long after typesetting. The publishers came up with the idea of publishing the Bree story separately so that people would know more of Bree before they watched the movie. When Stephenie Meyer suggested the idea of gifting the story of Bree to the fans since they had already bought tons of books on the series, the publishers agreed, which gave birth to the idea of presenting the book online for a month.

Book Review: The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer
The title itself suggests the novella is related to Eclipse in some way. This is the story Bree Tanner, the newborn vampire who was killed in the war between the armies of Cullens and Victoria. The book follows the six days in the life of the newborn vampire Bree’s life.

Book Review of South of the Border, West of the Sun
Murakami´s novel lacks the fantastical elements that normally pervade his work. The novel explores seemingly more mundane topics such as a mid-life crisis and a love-triangle, and is the weaker for it. Although Murakami places a series of twists upon convention, and maintains the mystery evident in many of his books, the story can still be seen as stale.

A well written funny mystery ; Film lover Barbara Marr is a typical suburban mom living the typical suburban life in her sleepy little town of Rustic Woods, Virginia. Typical, that is until she sets out to find the missing link between a bizarre monkey sighting in her yard and the bone chilling middle-of-the-night fright fest at the strangely vacant house next door.

Online bookstores like uRead — a paradise for book lovers
I am a bookworm. And for as long as I can remember, I have had to go to bookstores, that are always not located just outside your house, run around bookshelves that look like they are just going to fall on you and even then, after all that effort that has been put into the exercise, come back with a book that you never really wanted to buy! Hurts, doesn’t it?

The Banks May Reduce Costs Through The Use Of Mobile Money
The Indian Economy is growing and the possible role of mobile money in the same may not be overstated. The author of The March of Mobile Money, Sam Pitroda, is an advisor to the PM on infrastructure and innovation. The main reason why he feels so passionately about his idea of digital wallet – the banks haven’t been able to reach the bottom of the pyramid yet. He firmly believes his idea will help reach the banks to these inaccessible markets.

iBoy by Kevin Brooks is much more than just a tale of grit or a new action hero (another thing common, the hero can’t reveal himself to the girl he loves). To enjoy the book, however, you’ll have to excuse use of few sloppy words such as enervated or frequently occurring swearing throughout the book.

Don’t Read Popular Books? You Can’t Avoid Jonathan Franzen
It doesn’t matter what kind of literature you are currently into, you will have to read The Corrections at the end of the day. May be you will do it out of your own choice, or because your friends just couldn’t stop raving about the characters in the book. Even those who are truly of the stubborn kind (those who don’t want to get into the popular literature because they have better things to do) will have to read it when the movie version is released. So what is their excuse?

Can You Be A Character In The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen?
While reading The Corrections, many readers felt glad they were not one of the characters, but could easily visualize themselves making the same mistakes they were making. In the conventional sense, The Corrections didn’t have a plot, but it did explain how the characters got where they were. Take Gary for example, who was sure in his heart he didn’t want to have a marriage like his father who dominated (or bullied) his wife. As a result, his wife started dominating the marriage.

This is the Way Jonathan Franzen Writes
Although Jonathan Franzen doesn’t know how the cruise chapters work, he is aware how the first two chapters and then fifth and sixth work. He just takes a single situation and then tightens the screws for all the characters (just like short novels). He is slightly apologetic about it, but Jonathan Franzen does create situations somewhat mechanically (for you it means there is a method behind the madness). He wants to figure out a powerful dramatic situation beforehand when he starts writing.
