There is some new vampire competition on the horizon and fans are up in arms. We’re breaking down the Twilight-Vampire Diaries story right now on ClevverTV! Hey guys-Joslyn Davis here in Beverly Hills talking about how Twi-fans are reacting to the CW’s new show “Vampire Diaries.” So did the show rip off Twilight or are angry viewers really entirely uninformed? It is time to set the record straight! Even though Twilight hit theaters before Vampire Diaries hit TV screens, the truth is that Vampire Diaries was a book way before Twilight was even a twinkle in Stephanie Meyer’s eye! Vampire Diaries was written by LJ Smith and published 14 years before Meyer’s first book in the Twi saga arrived on shelves.
So now die-hard Vampire Diaries fans are actually flipping the switch on the entire scandal saying that Twilight is actually copying Vampire Diaries. So will there be a lawsuit or any other legal drama regarding the vampire overload-probably not! Attorneys say that the vampire-based plots are about similar ideas and not about copyright infringement. Well, we here at Clevver TV think that this is a perfect of example of the more the merrier!

And recently,i have a spackle for Vampire Diaries, the character is hot,Demon is soooooo charming.He has the sense of humor . Damon is cynical and likes to antagonize his brother on the show. It’s also stated that he and his brother haven’t seen each other in 15 years and Damon saying some along the lines of ‘Nice haircut. The 90’s grunge wasn’t looking good for you.”I like him,the way he talks,the gaits he walks.And sometimes I just haunted by this feelings,i must cast all my reveries away.But if there is a real Demon in our life,I would rather die for it and turn for a vampire.I cherish my illusions.
He is tweeting up a storm and dropping hints at the awesomeness that is to come in the Season 2 premiere.
There are a lot of obvious similarities between the two entertainment hits, but can’t we just enjoy what each has to offer instead of arguing about which one is better? Vampire love has taken the world by storm. So many teens and adults have grown to thirst for story lines similar to Stephanie Meyer’s popular Twilight series. But fans of vampire love stories may not have to wait until fall to enjoy the next vampire romance. The CW’s new TV series, The Vampire Diaries, has many of the same qualities as Meyer’s Twilight books.
Every good vampire romance must have extremely good looking vampires for humans to lust after. The Vampire Diaries does not disappoint.
Stephen is The Vampire Diaries’ Edward. He is new to town and a new student at the high school. He is hauntingly good looking and all the girls are interested in him, but he only has eyes for Elena. Like Edward, Stephen has chosen to live a “vegetarian” lifestyle and feeds off of animals only. He is hundreds of years old and has returned to Mystic Falls for a specific purpose.
Damon is Stephen’s older brother who appears at the end of the pilot episode. Damon plays the role of the villain. He is more violent than Stephen and still feeds off of humans. Damon is torturing Stephen because of an incident that happened with a woman named Katherine who died 100 years ago.
Like Twilight, the heroine is human, and a vampire is in love with her. She of course has a circle of friends and family who add to the story.
Elena is The Vampire Diaries Bella. She is the story’s heroine and Stephen’s love interest. She is a pretty, popular girl at the school whose parents died a few months before in a tragic car accident. She is still suffering from the loss and is immediately drawn to Stephen’s good looks and charm.
Vampire Diaries follows Elena, a high school girl torn between two vampire brothers. Four months after the tragic car accident that killed their parents, 17-year-old Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev, DeGrassi: The Next Generation) and her 15-year-old brother, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen, Everwood) are still trying to cope with their grief and move on with their lives. Elena has always been the star student; beautiful, popular and involved with school and friends, but now she finds herself struggling to hide her sadness from the world.
