I’m not what you’d call the most “tech savvy” person, but when my husband recommended the iPad to me, I couldn’t resist. I bought one just a few days after it came, and fell in love with it. I could easily email my friends, browse Facebook, look at photos of the kids. I was mainly captivated though by the eBook reading capabilities of the iPad. I believed that with my new iPad, I would never have to read a real paper book again. Then I discovered how much it would cost me for each and every book from the iBookstore. My high hopes of having an entire library of books on my iPad crumbled.
I figured there had to be an easier, cheaper way. After searching on Yahoo Answers, I discovered positive reviews from other iPad users who had tried this site called myPadMedia and had loved it. The site promised unlimited lifetime access allowing members to download thousands of books, comic books, newspapers and more, all directly to the Apple iPad. I gave it a shot, and signed up.
I was very impressed! Within minutes of becoming a member, I was able to download the entire Twilight series to my iPad. After that, I downloaded Dan Brown’s most recent book ‘The Lost Symbol’ and then that controversial new Oprah biography. For the kids, I downloaded some of their favorites and even some games too. Just recently I was waiting as my car was getting serviced, so I jumped on myPadMedia and started reading Vogue magazine! Guess how much that cost me? Not a single cent!
I have been a member for almost a month now, and I have to say that it is an excellent service. The downloads are fast, the process is so simple, and their database is absolutely huge. I honestly think that they have a bigger range than the iBookstore. So, if you are looking to enhance your iPad experience, I suggest you give myPadMedia a shot. The customer service team is amazing. When I didn’t know how to bookmark a page in one of my download books, they were able to help me over the phone to figure it out, just minutes after I emailed them. Move over Apple, myPadMedia crushes you guys in everyway.

Imagine being able to carry a library of 3000 books under your arm. Now, imagine being able to modify this library with the tips of your fingers by choosing from a continuously growing list of affordable titles. This may seem like an abstract stretch of the imagination but it has become possible thanks to Amazon’s Kindle and the Ebook catalog available on the website. In the digital age, dusty libraries are being swept into obscurity and they are being replaced by slim, hand-held, digital reading devices. Along with fetishes about sexy librarians, bookshops will also slowly start to disappear in the new digital environment carefully engineered by Amazon.
It was no exaggeration to suggest the possibility of carrying 3000 books under your arm, because (with 4GB of hard drive space) the Kindle DX is more than capable of storing this many books. Amazon Ebooks come in a restricted digital format which has been especially developed for the Kindle platform. The list of Ebooks was recently estimated at over 600 000 and it grows every day. There are very few bookstores which could ever boast a fraction of this many titles and Amazon enhances its competitive edge by providing prices which are unbeatable.
All titles can be downloaded onto the Kindle within seconds for no cost if you are registered as a user in the United States of America. Most books are also available for very reasonable prices. You can now buy any of the books from the Twilight Saga and start reading immediately. With Eclipse selling for the low price of only .79 it would be foolish to wait in line for your copy. The problem of books being sold out has also been eliminated because Ebooks do not suffer from the physical limitations of print.
A number or newspapers and magazines have also jumped onto the Ebook bandwagon to provide readers with electronic versions of their periodicals. Readers can now subscribe to Time Magazine and have a weekly electronic copy delivered to the Kindle for a monthly cost of only .99.
Crowded bookstores, long queues and incompetent sales assistants are a thing of the past. The Amazon review system ensures that you are aware of the quality of the text before you purchase it. You no longer need to garner advice from a sales assistant who hasn’t read the book. Rather read a short review by one of the many Kindle owners who have bought and read the text.
The beauty of Kindle Ebooks is that they are cheap and immediate; they cut out all the admin associated with purchasing a new book. You can now get your hands on any title in your imagination without leaving your bedroom. The moment you feel like paging through a new novel it can become accessible. There are no queues or incompetent sales assistants with the Kindle and you never have to worry about your desired title being sold out. Amazon Ebooks are bringing reading back into fashion by eliminating all the irritations which once plagued this enlightening pastime.

That’s right, I’m abridging Twilight. Pointless repetition of details are no more. Instead, you get snark. Before you even ask, yes, I have read the books. This should be obvious by my listing the events of chapter one. No, I didn’t like the book. No, it would not make sense for me to not read the book if I didn’t like it because it would be illogical to dislike it to this extent without having read it. Yes, I am male. Yes, I am from Twilightsucksdot.com and, no, the site isn’t inhabited by mostly guys. I’m currently one of maybe five at most out of a good hundred members. ANYWAY The Twilight Abridged Drinking Game: (ONLY TO BE PLAYED IF YOU ARE OF LEGAL AGE) Warning! Do not use strong liquor! The game is simple. Down a shot each time the word “bitch” or its derivatives are used to describe Bella or her actions. You’ll be good and wasted by the time it’s done. ..I counted 16 shots.

I’m not what you’d call the most “tech savvy” person, but when my husband recommended the Kindle to me, I couldn’t resist. I bought one just a few days after it came out, and fell in love with it. I was especially captivated though by the eBook reading capabilities of the Kindle. I believed that with my new Kindle, I would never have to read a real paper book again. Then I discovered how much it would cost me for each and every book from the Amazon. My high hopes of having an entire library of books on my Kindle crumbled.
I figured there had to be an easier, cheaper way. After searching on Yahoo Answers, I discovered positive reviews from other Kindle users who had tried this site called The Novel Network and had loved it. The site promised unlimited lifetime access allowing members to download thousands of books, comic books, newspapers and more, all directly to the Amazon Kindle, aswell as the iPad, Nook, and any other e-Reader. I gave it a shot, and signed up.
I was very impressed! Within minutes of becoming a member, I was able to download the entire Twilight series to my Kindle. After that, I downloaded Dan Brown’s most recent book ‘The Lost Symbol’ and then that controversial new Oprah biography. For the kids, I downloaded some of their favorites and even some comic books too! Just recently I was waiting as my car was getting serviced, so I jumped on The Novel Network and started reading Vogue magazine! Guess how much that cost me? Not a single cent!
I have been a member for almost a month now, and I have to say that it is an excellent service. The downloads are fast, the process is so simple, and their database is absolutely huge. I honestly think that they have a bigger range than Amazon! So, if you are looking to enhance your Kindle experience, I suggest you give The Novel Network a shot. The customer service team is amazing. When I didn’t know how to bookmark a page in one of my downloaded books, they were able to help me over the phone to figure it out, just minutes after I emailed them. Move over Amazon, The Novel Network crushes you guys in every way.

Since buying the Nook from Barnes & Noble last year, my reading experience has changed spectacularly. The E ink display on the screen is fantastic, and it has allowed me to read eBooks for a long time in bed without it hurting my eyes. The free connection to AT&T’s 3G network has also come in handy for downloading eBooks from the Barnes & Noble store, but the problem I faced with this device has been the cost of paying for all the eBooks. As a mom of two kids, I found it quite expensive to pay for every book downloaded, especially when you read as many books as I do! One of the reasons I spent 0 in purchasing the Nook was because I thought I’d be able to download tons of eBooks from Barnes & Noble inexpensively. Boy, was I wrong! After few weeks I stopped downloading books from Barnes & Noble and left my Nook aside for some time to allow my credit card to recover from all the spending. Soon after, my friend Greg who owns a Kindle recommended The Novel Network to me.
He claimed he’d been using this site for the past 3 months which enabled him to download as many eBooks as he wanted, to any eBook reader, without having to spend a cent! I didn’t believe him at first, but decided to check out the site to see what he was talking about. After checking out the features The Novel Network claimed to offer, I signed up in a heartbeat! The site claimed to provide its members with unlimited eBook downloads from their database to any e-Reader such as the Nook, Kindle, iPad, and basically any other device, without having to pay for each download. I was tingling with excitement. My dreams of having an entire portable library with me wherever I went could soon be possible. So, I became a member, logged in, and I was absolutely shocked by what I discovered.
The Novel Network database was gigantic! They had over 30,000 titles available for me to download. And these weren’t books by authors I’ve never heard of. They were bestsellers like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Breaking Dawn (The Twilight Saga), The Rembrandt Affair (Gabriel Allon), The Passage, The Obama Diaries, and Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. Basically, any book I wanted to read, or would have to spend to download from Barnes & Noble or Amazon, I could find at The Novel Network, and download for free. That’s right…FREE! Within days of using The Novel Network, my Nook, which I hadn’t touched in weeks, was up and running again, filled with over 36 new books which I had just downloaded. My husband couldn’t keep it out of my hands after that!
One of the most fabulous features of The Novel Network is that they also allow me to download the daily newspaper to my Nook! Any paper in the world, I can have it straight on Nook! How great is that? They also provide a humungous database of digital comic books which my kids just love! They’ve been able to read all their favorites like Spider-man, X-Men, Dragon Ball Z etc. The even better feature is that The Novel Network works with all devices. That means I can download the books to my Nook, my laptop, my PC, even my Blackberry! The eBooks are available in every format imaginable, so I can take my books wherever I go!
The Novel Network is a lifesaver. They have opened the doors to an enormous wave of multimedia, bestselling novels, comic books, newspapers and more. For that, I am very grateful. Theyhave enabled me to make the most of my Nook, and I can’t imagine myself ever putting it down now! I strongly recommend The Novel Network to anyone looking to download eBooks to their chosen device. Why pay per eBook, when you can get them at The Novel Network for free?
