Prom is one of the most important occasions in the life of students. It is an annual event which is held at the end of the school year and is a formal event. A prom usually includes music, dancing and food and there are many creative ideas that you can use for making the event more fun.

Before choosing a prom theme, there are some things you have to keep in mind. Firstly, you have the see the general atmosphere of your school and the faculty so that you know which theme would be appropriate and which would not be suitable. Do not choose themes which may be popular amongst a few groups of students only. Always go for something that has a mass appeal and choose something that most people can relate to.

One of the most popular prom themes is one based on a Hollywood movie. If there is any movie which is very popular at the time of your prom then you can choose that as the theme of your prom. Also, you can choose any movie which you think has a mass appeal and would be great for costumes such as Gone with the Wind and Pirates of the Caribbean etc.

Another great idea is to have a prom theme based on books. If there is a popular new book series that is loved by many people in your school then that is a good idea for a theme. For example, a prom theme can be based on the Twilight book series because it is popular and well liked by many students. You can also choose a classic novel for a prom theme. It is also a good idea to choose a book that is currently part of your curriculum because most people will be familiar with it.

You can also have more generalized themes for you prom. For example, you can have a Hollywood theme where people can dress up as their favorite actors or characters. You can also have a Halloween theme or a theme based on a particular genre of music.

superstar Hrithik Roshan will be sharing screen space with Twilight fame Kristen Stewart. Bollywood superstar Hrithik will be seen opposite Kristen Stewart in Shekhar Kapur’s next. The movie as of now has been titled Paani. This one would be an English speaking movie.

It’s a fact hard to digest as unlike Barbara Mori who gained more prominence amongst the Indian masses after she signed Kites opposite Hrithik Roshan, Kristen Stewart is much a bigger celebrity and heartthrob amongst the Indian masses and globally. The gorgeous lass is renowned for her work in noteworthy movies like “Into The Wild”, “Adventureland”, “The Runaways” and she is better known as Isabella Swan. But the character that appealed the most and connected well with the audience is the character of Bella in the movie adaptations of the “Twilight” book series. This is one eye popping news for anybody and everybody and who can deliver it better than the Golden Globe nominated director Shekhar Kapur who earlier has given us movies like “Mr. India”, “Bandit Queen”, “Elizabeth” and “New York, I Love You”.

The 20 year old Kristen Stewart kick started her career when she was petite. At a tender age she was nominated under the category of Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Leading Young Actress in the year 2002. Then after her career took off as she was again nominated under the category of Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Supporting Young Actress in the year 2003 for the role she enacted of Kristen Tilson in the movie Cold Creek Manor and also in 2004 under the same category for the movie Undertow. But, her standout performance wherein she was nominated under two categories, was the character of Tracy from the highly acclaimed movie Into The Wild.

And now finally she would be seen making her debut in Bollywood movies with none other than the superstar himself Hrithik Roshan. The news has already spread like wildfire as the masses are really looking forward to see the camaraderie these two share on the silver screen.

Hrithik Roshan is going at a good pace with many movies in his pipeline. The actor will be seen in much hyped & equally much awaited movie “Kites” with Barbara Mori and he is working on movies like “Guzaarish”, “Krishh 2”, “Kismat Talkies” and also in an untitled project with Zoya Akhthar.

Well, the buzz created by the news has really done a good pre-promotion of the bollywood movies. The hype is created and now all eyes are set on the authenticity of the news. Nothing is being finalized yet, but the blue-eyed hunk Hrithik is surely getting his hands full as an actor. The project will tentatively take off later this year and if the project sees the light of the day, it should be a great launching pad for Kristen Stewart’s young career.

Well, as days are passing by, Bollywood movies and Hollywood are coming together and the conglutination has started big time.

Vampire love has taken the world by storm. So many teens and adults have grown to thirst for story lines similar to Stephanie Meyer’s popular Twilight series. But fans of vampire love stories may not have to wait until fall to enjoy the next vampire romance. The CW’s new TV series, The Vampire Diaries, has many of the same qualities as Meyer’s Twilight books.

Every good vampire romance must have extremely good looking vampires for humans to lust after. The Vampire Diaries does not disappoint.

Stephen is The Vampire Diaries’ Edward. He is new to town and a new student at the high school. He is hauntingly good looking and all the girls are interested in him, but he only has eyes for Elena. Like Edward, Stephen has chosen to live a “vegetarian” lifestyle and feeds off of animals only. He is hundreds of years old and has returned to Mystic Falls for a specific purpose.

Damon is Stephen’s older brother who appears at the end of the pilot episode. Damon plays the role of the villain. He is more violent than Stephen and still feeds off of humans. Damon is torturing Stephen because of an incident that happened with a woman named Katherine who died 100 years ago.

Like Twilight, the heroine is human, and a vampire is in love with her. She of course has a circle of friends and family who add to the story.

Elena is The Vampire Diaries Bella. She is the story’s heroine and Stephen’s love interest. She is a pretty, popular girl at the school whose parents died a few months before in a tragic car accident. She is still suffering from the loss and is immediately drawn to Stephen’s good looks and charm.

Vampire Diaries follows Elena, a high school girl torn between two vampire brothers. Four months after the tragic car accident that killed their parents, 17-year-old Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev, DeGrassi: The Next Generation) and her 15-year-old brother, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen, Everwood) are still trying to cope with their grief and move on with their lives. Elena has always been the star student; beautiful, popular and involved with school and friends, but now she finds herself struggling to hide her sadness from the world.

Vampire of the Twilight books supposedly had Etruscan beginnings, something which they have got in common with the town of Volterra in Tuscany. Volterra has almost no crime rates and as outlined by the books, this is because of the anonymous but still highly felt presence of the Volturri.

Because of the highly imaginative author, the fans have difficulty separating fact from fiction when they see that there’s an actual town and they could visit it in exactly the same place which was written about.There is definitely an August festival which people can join in and this is the Augustan festival, however, this is not the exact same festival which the characters found themselves caught in. However, this isn’t the exact festival as in the books, as to the clock tower scene, there’s also none to be found in this town, there are no vampires; however the remainder are real and can be visited. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is found in the same area as Volterra in Tuscany, the province of Pisa. All tourists get to take advantage of the sights and sounds of ancient streets, spas and monuments, get to sleep in modern hotels built inside ancient buildings and take advantage of the food and culture that the Romans established a very long time ago. It doesn’t have to be the thought of blood and mystery as offered by vampiric tales to make Volterra a ‘must see’ place, it is due to what the town has to provide that makes it stand out among the choices for places to visit.

In the last three years, since the favored movies of the Twilight Saga came out, more and more people have visited this ancient Tuscany vacation town and they saw for themselves the magic of ancients. They have monuments and buildings in such a town that may be dated for a thousand years and they’re still in great condition. What is more, the food that are offered show the true side of Etruscan cuisine which only the Italians can perform justice.

There’s a saying that good is sometimes only found when you open your mind. It’s true; how many times have we been talked into trying a new restaurant that would not have been our first or second choice – or for that matter, might never had tried at all had it not been for a friend talking us into it? The same holds true for many of today’s contemporary films, too. Many parents had to make the call this summer whether or not to allow their kids to see Twilight, “the-red-hot-if-you-haven’t-seen-it-you’ve-been-on-another-planet” movie. Judging by the millions of dollars in revenue the film collected, it’s a fair assumption that most parents allowed their young ones to see it.

For many parents, though, it wouldn’t have been their first choice or the way to spend two hours in a movie theatre; however, many saw it with their kids just to be sure no lines were crossed and if they were, Mom or Dad could quickly usher their little ones out of the theatre. Turns out, though, amidst all the fantasy, vampires and even violence, this movie actually has a powerful message – and it’s one The Quiet Witness hopes will be what every teen, pre teen or young adult walked away with. That message is found in the scene when the film’s handsome leading man and likeable vampire refuses the sexual advances of his beautiful human girlfriend and instead insists they wait. Who knew, right? Quite the unexpected, but refreshing stance, no doubt. When Edward formally proposes to Bella, the two of them have what many young couples don’t have today: a pledge that’s still in place and honors the imminent wedding ceremony.

The ring is just lovely as it’s describe in great detail in the book and seen in the film; it was soon in big demand off the silver screen. It’s as elegant and traditional as the names Stephanie Meyer carefully chose for her characters. With a feminine oval shape and thirteen stones, it rests beautifully on the band. Timeless, regal and quietly stated – the designers hit a home run with this ring. There is one place you find an exact replica and the only place that offers a licensed and trademarked Bella’s Engagement Ring. As mentioned, the author of the books played a significant role in the design and she teamed with Infinite Jewelry Company to put the finishing touches on the ring. While there are several companies making “inspired by” versions, the only authorized trademarked replica of the actual ring as described in the Twilight book Eclipse, can be found at www.BellasEngagementRing.org.

One editorial written about this particular message, posted on a parenting website, and ironically written by a mother, reads, “I would have loved the freedom of making out with Edward Cullen. To know that I could lose control because he was going to stop me…that’s a gift young women don’t usually get”. While that may not be the way every parent sees it, you can’t miss the all too common frustration young women feel when it seems as though they spend half their time fending off advances from the one they love. Ah…but there’s more. It’s not until you take a step back and see things from a different perspective, though.

Our sweet and noble (who knew those two adjectives would ever be used to describe a vampire, fictional though he is?) leading man, Edward Cullen (played brilliantly by Robert Pattinson), delivers his message with confidence and authority. But out here in the real world, there’s a more powerful message to be found through Edward’s refusal to engage in pre-marital sex. Boys get pressured too. Too many times, the assumption is made that it’s the girls who must spend a good part of their teenage years fending off the advances of their boyfriends, who have no concept of testosterone or raging hormones. It was refreshing to see a young man, albeit the silver screen, who made the right call. Hopefully, this will start a chain reaction that includes other teen boys doing the right thing. Girls too, of course, but this one scene in the film really hits the mark in today’s society. W8ing for marriage, as it turns out, is important for vampires, too. On the website www.thequietwitness.com, they have several articles that discuss abstinence and purity issues that young men and women deal with.

If you’re still up in the air on whether or not to allow your pre-teen to see this film, please know this isn’t a recommendation either way; instead, it’s just a glimpse into the mindsets of the two leading characters. Only a parent can know if it’s appropriate for his or her child. In the end, Bella, played by Kristin Stewart saves herself for wedding day – and as far as we’re concerned, there’s no better “happily ever after”.
