The Twilight Saga has managed to make the town of Volterra in Tuscany very famous across the world. The scenes of the movie in Volterra was splashed across the internet, over the Twilight sites to YouTube. This has not only become a tourist destination for Twihards, but it really is currently considered a ‘must’ to go to when in Italy.
This Tuscan province of Pisa that Volterra is part of had been populated even over the Neolithic times. ‘Volterrae’ is the original Latin word for modern Volterra.’ More plus much more visitors never actually thought that they might be able to see numerous sites. (Even though it is a town that has all the monuments and Roman architecture, the clock tower in the book and movie isn’t in evidence as that was just a structure which was given birth to by the author. There is no actual clock tower, it had been just part of the film set in the movieThis is a town that has managed to conserve its culture, they have managed to safeguard itself from the modern world and people who check out Volterra are immediately given the impression that they’re transported to another time.
It is just not simply because of the books which has made Volterra a world-wide phenomenon, is is because they continue to give the visitors the experience of living in an ancient world. The ‘Theatre of Vallebona’ which goes back to the times of Augustus Caesar is one of the reasons why visitors feel they have stepped back in time The Roman empire was so successful in architecture that their monuments, water tanks and spas can still be seen in wonders and could still be used. That is the wonder of this place and if you’re a visitor who likes to experience something that which is history, then Volterra is the place for you. For people that worry about accommodations, Tuscan vacations offer hotels and luxury villas where one can stay and so they all offer the standard foods. The hotels are wonders in themselves also, they’ll be modern inside and offer the newest of conveniences, but in matters of architecture, they had been all built within ancient architecture.

Part of the package of Tuscany vacations would be the recently popular town of Volterra which is shown alongside the greater famous sites such as Learning Tower of Pisa and the sandy beaches found in Versilia. The second book and movie showed the town of Volterra as an ancient town with ancient monuments inhabited by modern people and naturally, the vampires.
The town was supposedly under the protection of those Volturri and are said to still hold the guardianship over it which was the entire reason for their continued existence in the modern world. Of course, that was just part of the books and movie, however, since phenomenon that is Twilight has encompassed the world, the number and variety of tourists to Volterra has increased considerably in the past three years. People who wish to experience all things Twilight want to visit this town, to experience for themselves what the characters in the book experienced. The fans never get to see, however, the famous clock tower where Edward Cullen was supposedly planning to reveal himself to the world. This clock tower was pure imagination on the part of the author, although the movie made certain that they built one.
This town is equipped with modern facilities in the form of the hotel accommodations and villas that litter the area, but the fact that these hotels are inside ancient monuments themselves gives the visitors a sense of wonder of how such a town could exist for so long.
The ancient Romans build this town complete with spas, water tanks, roads and buildings, and their wonders remain functioning today. The people of the Tuscany town are quite focused to hold on to their ancient culture and ways. Visitors can relax and revel in their espressos while sitting in graceful cafes that line the ancient streets of the town, streets which were laid out by ancient Romans. This town will never fail the tourists. Even if there are no vampires here, nobody deny that visiting this place is an experience never to be forgotten no ignored.

Vampire of the Twilight books supposedly had Etruscan beginnings, something which they have got in common with the town of Volterra in Tuscany. Volterra has almost no crime rates and as outlined by the books, this is because of the anonymous but still highly felt presence of the Volturri.
Because of the highly imaginative author, the fans have difficulty separating fact from fiction when they see that there’s an actual town and they could visit it in exactly the same place which was written about.There is definitely an August festival which people can join in and this is the Augustan festival, however, this is not the exact same festival which the characters found themselves caught in. However, this isn’t the exact festival as in the books, as to the clock tower scene, there’s also none to be found in this town, there are no vampires; however the remainder are real and can be visited. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is found in the same area as Volterra in Tuscany, the province of Pisa. All tourists get to take advantage of the sights and sounds of ancient streets, spas and monuments, get to sleep in modern hotels built inside ancient buildings and take advantage of the food and culture that the Romans established a very long time ago. It doesn’t have to be the thought of blood and mystery as offered by vampiric tales to make Volterra a ‘must see’ place, it is due to what the town has to provide that makes it stand out among the choices for places to visit.
In the last three years, since the favored movies of the Twilight Saga came out, more and more people have visited this ancient Tuscany vacation town and they saw for themselves the magic of ancients. They have monuments and buildings in such a town that may be dated for a thousand years and they’re still in great condition. What is more, the food that are offered show the true side of Etruscan cuisine which only the Italians can perform justice.
